Tyholland suffered a 2nd defeat in a week and exited the Intermediate championship after going down to Eire Og 1-7 to 0-13. Tyholland looked to be cruising after taking a deserved 3 point lead into the 2nd half but then failed to score until well into stoppage time. Eire Og upped there game and game away deserved winners in the end. Tyholland face Drumhowan in 2 weeks time in the league in a crucial must win tie.

Tyholland Senior Team lost their Championship replay last Sunday against Rockcorry after another below par performance in Scotstown. A more hungrier Rockcorry team advanced to the semi final with a 0-10 to 1-5 win. Tyholland get their second chance this coming Friday Sept 4th in Emyvale at 8pm when they face Eire Og.
Last Night (Wednesday 2nd) the Reserve Team recorded a win over Drumhowan in their final league game. It could be little too late as we are relying on other results to go our way if we have any chance of making the semis.
Our U16 play the first of their 2 finals tonight in Ballybay at 6:45pm against Cremartin. Please come out and support the lads.

The Tyholland Minors progressed to the Minor Championship Division 3 Final with a comprehensive win over Clones on Tuesday night in Scotstown. Adam Askin (who has been begging to see a write up on this website about himself) provided most of the scores as Tyholland ran out 4-17 to 1-3 winners. Last night (Wednesday) the Reserve Team clocked up a 2 point win away to Cremartin, Daniel Connolly with the all important second half goal. On Sunday the Seniors face Rockcorry in the next round of the Intermediate Championship
